Laura Jane Grace

Laura Jane Grace is the popular founder and lead singer of the punk rock band Against Me!, among other bands. This wasn’t her only band, she also fronted for Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers. This band was one of the investments she made back in 2016. She is well known for being one of the popular punk rock musicians who came out as transgender. She did this in May 2012.

She published a memoir titled Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout, which was co-written by Dan Ozzi. It’s interesting to know that a lot of parts in the book were derived from Grace’s journals from third grade. It was said that she experienced gender dysphoria at an early age but did not come out until 2012.
